The 6th International Paint, Varnish, Ink & Auxiliary Products Industry Congress & Exhibition, PAINT 2006, shall take place on 17-19 May 2006.

The Chamber of Chemical Engineers organized the first Congress and Exhibition at "The Marmara Hotel" with the support of companies of the paint related industry sectors in the year 1995.

Since this primary Congress and Exhibition received interest beyond expectations, the organization was repeated in 1997 at the more capacious "Istanbul Convention and Exhibition Center". The Chamber of Chemical Engineers and the sponsoring companies, were also successful in organizing the third and fourth Congresses and Exhibitions, despite the Kocaeli Earthquake in 1999 and economic crisis in 2001, respectively, traditionalizing the event.

Due to its traditional and well organized infrastructure and also to the fact that Türkiye forms a bridge between the emerging markets of the Middle East, Eastern Europe and C.I.S. and technologically developed companies, the PAINT 2004 hosted 75 stands and received above 2000 visitors.

An even higher participation of companies involved in production of paints and paint processing equipment is expected in PAINT 2006, which will take place at 17-19 May 2006.

We also believe that the additional feature of the main theme "Smart Coatings and New Technologies" as well as plenary lectures and invited speakers from different parts of the world shall increase participation in both the Congress and Exhibition.

Thus, we, the overall organizer Chamber of Chemical Engineers along with Exhibition organizer Bilesim A.S. and sponsor companies, would like to invite companies involved in coatings, the researchers who contribute to this branch of science and businessmen who would like to be informed of the latest technological developments and meet the representatives important companies of the field, to PAINT 2006.
